Chef Egg Testimonials

"Amazing" "You are the man"

The Chef Egg program was educational, interactive and fun. The students who attended all learned a lot about how to get the most value out of the food they cook - and how to make it taste good! I still hear students speak about this program; it is great for seniors who will soon be in their own apartments and for those who have kitchens on campus. This was a valuable program with a fantastic presenter.

I was looking for a team building activity for a group of my co-workers at McCormick and this looked like the perfect opportunity. We learned some really great skills, such as proper use of knives, and had an awesome demo with samples for everyone. The atmosphere was fun and informative. We used our new skills, later that day, to prepare meals for families staying at Believe in Tomorrow Children's House. The families loved the meals that we prepared and part of that is due to the skills that Chef Egg taught us. And our McCormick spices, of course!

Chef Egg Berlin expertly guided the class through both the poaching and the Hollandaise, and more. He was energetic, funny, and moved around the classroom quickly, helping us fools as we bravely attempted to keep up.

13 members of Wounded Warrior Project Alumni and family participated a series of four classes, each building off the last class. This cooking series was a huge success. Our alumni were able to bring a spouse, and that really helped create a bonding experience that many alumni don't get to share with their spouse at other Wounded Warrior Project Events. All the participants said they had a fantastic time, and found this very valuable. This is key in the recovery process for many of these warriors, because not only are they able to share something new with their spouse, but they are able to learn to cook healthy, and new foods, that they otherwise may not have been able to try. Chef Egg was amazing during the classes, and clicked well with the participants; keeping them engaged, and having a fun time. I hope to have this opportunity for another group of warriors and their families in the near future.
